Next Gen Ranger Tub Switch Panel: Power Where You Need It
The Next Gen Ford Ranger's tub is where a lot of touring gear lives: fridges, compressors, lights and camp power. Running leads over the tailgate or through a gap in the canopy works, but it's messy and it wears cables. A tub panel gives you a fixed, tidy place for Anderson plugs, USB charging, a voltmeter or a switch, right where you use them.
What is a tub switch panel?
The Next Gen Ford Ranger Tub Panel Switch Mount is a rear tray panel designed for the Next Gen Ranger. It gives a clean, built-in look for power outlets in the tub. It's made to be configured, so you choose the layout that suits how you use your ute.
Available layouts
The panel is offered in a range of configurations, including:
- A single 50A Anderson-style plug in grey or red, for one fridge or one solar input.
- Dual 50A plugs (two grey, or one red and one grey) to run a fridge and charge an auxiliary battery at the same time.
- Triple 50A plugs (three grey, two grey and one red, or one red, one black and one grey) for several circuits.
- A 3-port USB 3.0 with voltmeter gauge. Charge phones and devices and keep an eye on battery voltage.
- USB-C PD with two USB ports, combined with one or two 50A plugs.
- A voltmeter with 50A plugs: monitor battery voltage next to your Anderson outlets.
- A 50A plug with a switch, to switch a circuit on or off at the panel.
Check the product page for the full current list of options before ordering.
Choosing the right setup
Fridge in the tub? A single grey 50A plug is the simplest choice. Add a voltmeter so you can watch battery voltage overnight.
Fridge plus solar or a second battery? Dual plugs in different colours (red and grey) keep circuits from being swapped by mistake, since only same-colour housings mate.
Working from the tub? A USB-C PD layout charges laptops and phones without an inverter.
Lights or a compressor? The switch option gives you on/off control right at the panel.
Other Next Gen Ranger upgrades
- Next Gen Ranger / Raptor STEDI light tub bracket mount: mounts a STEDI light in the tub.
- Next Gen Ranger reverse camera relocation mount: a tailgate camera bracket.
- Ford Ranger Raptor Anderson plug tow bar mount bracket: Anderson power at the rear for a camper or trailer.
- Running an older Ranger? See the PX2/PX3 Anderson plug tub mount.

Installation notes
- Plan your cable runs from the auxiliary battery or DC-DC charger before fitting the panel, and fuse every circuit at the source.
- Use cable rated for the current and length. Fridge circuits in particular suffer from voltage drop on long, thin runs.
- Crimp Anderson terminals properly and seat them fully in the housing.
- If you're not confident with 12V wiring, an auto electrician can wire the panel in quickly once it's fitted.
Frequently asked questions
Does it suit the Raptor?
The tub panel is listed for the Next Gen Ranger. For Raptor-specific parts, see the STEDI light bracket and the Raptor tow bar Anderson mount above, or message us to confirm fitment for your vehicle.
Can I get a custom layout?
The panel is designed to be configured for different uses. If the layout you want isn't listed, contact us and we'll let you know what's possible.
Are plugs and USB modules included?
Each listed configuration names the plugs and modules it comes with. Check the option you select on the product page.
Which colour plug should I use?
Match the plug colour to your appliance leads. Anderson-style housings only mate with compatible colours, so using red for one circuit and grey for another helps stop mix-ups.
