Clean drinking water. No chemicals. No consumables. No warm-up.
The VANKOR UV-C LED Water Steriliser neutralises bacteria, viruses and protozoa as water flows through — using UV-C light, not chemicals. No taste change, no odour, nothing added. It's independently lab-tested to eliminate over 99.99% of E. coli at 8 litres per minute.
Built for caravans, RVs, 4WDs, boats and off-grid setups. Runs on 12V or 24V, sips power, and holds full flow to 8 L/min. Install it inline after your sediment and carbon filters and you're done.
Why it beats a standard UV unit
- Independently lab-tested — over 99.99% of E. coli eliminated
- 10,000-hour UV-C LED — around 3× the life of a typical 3,000-hour unit
- Power converter included — runs on 12V or 24V out of the box, nothing extra to buy
- Instant-on — no warm-up, no mercury, no bulbs to replace
- Full flow to 8 L/min — no pressure drop
Run it as a two-stage system
UV-C only works on clear water — sediment blocks the light and lets bugs slip through. Run a carbon filter (like the Pro Flow 12) first to strip sediment, chlorine and chemicals, then the UV-C steriliser handles the rest. Filter, then sterilise — safe water every fill.

Installation & maintenance
Install inline after your sediment and carbon filters with the included 12mm push fittings. For 12V, run it through the included converter; for 24V, plug straight in. Two screw-in wall clips hold it steady. No warm-up — the LEDs fire the moment water flows. No bulbs, no mercury, no cartridges — just keep pre-filtration in place so the chamber stays clear.
Frequently asked questions
Does it kill Giardia and Cryptosporidium?
Yes — UV-C inactivates protozoa like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, plus bacteria and viruses, by scrambling their DNA. Independently lab-tested to eliminate over 99.99% of E. coli.
Do I still need a filter?
For untested water, yes — a carbon filter removes sediment and chemicals and clears the water so the UV can work. Run it first, then the steriliser.
Will it slow my water down?
No — no pressure drop, full flow to 8 L/min.
How long does it last?
The UV-C LED is rated to 10,000 hours — no bulbs to replace, and it doesn't mind being switched on and off.
